ParseDoc · receipts & invoices → structured data

Parse receipts inside your n8n workflows

n8n already watches your inbox, Drive and Slack. Add the ParseDoc community node and every receipt that flows through becomes structured data: one operation outputs a flat accounting row ready for Sheets, Airtable or Postgres.

How it works

1. Install the node

Settings → Community Nodes → install n8n-nodes-parsedoc. Works on self-hosted n8n.

2. Import the template

Our GitHub repo ships a ready workflow: Manual/Gmail trigger → ParseDoc (accounting line) → your sheet.

3. Choose your billing

Free demo tier to test (no credentials), then an API key plan — the node's credential takes the key and your quota applies.

Frequently asked questions

Which operations does the node expose?

'Parse Document' (full JSON) and 'Parse to Accounting Line' (flat row: date, merchant, total, tax, category, confidence, needs_review).

Binary or URL input?

Both — feed it the binary from an email/Drive node, or a public document URL.

n8n Cloud?

The node is published on npm and submitted for n8n verification; self-hosted works today, Cloud once verified.
