Photo at purchase time, or batch-scan the pile monthly — both work.
2. Convert to data
Merchant, date, total, tax and category per receipt, exported as CSV.
3. Reconcile
Match receipt rows to bank lines by date+amount in your spreadsheet or accounting tool — the painful typing is already done.

Can it read bank statements too?
The current schema is optimized for receipts and invoices. Statement support is on the roadmap.
What about VAT/GST?
Tax entries are extracted with rate and amount where printed — exactly what you need for VAT/GST claims.
How do I keep this up monthly?
An n8n workflow (free template in our repo) watches an inbox and appends parsed receipts to your sheet automatically.
